A board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with an empathetic and patient-centered approach to mental health care.
Perri is a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner who earned her master’s degree from Hunter College and her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Stony Brook University. She brings extensive experience caring for individuals across the lifespan with a wide range of medical and psychiatric conditions in diverse hospital settings.
As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, Perri has supported individuals through a wide range of mental health challenges in both inpatient psychiatric units and intensive outpatient programs in New York City. She is committed to creating a safe, compassionate space where patients feel understood and empowered throughout their healing journey.
She specializes in treating adults with mood disorders, including depression and bipolar disorder, as well as anxiety disorders such as generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, and PTSD. She also has experience working with individuals experiencing psychosis.
Perri has a special interest in supporting cancer survivors and their caregivers through every phase of the cancer journey—a passion rooted in her seven years as a registered nurse at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
She takes a holistic, patient-centered approach to care, and is dedicated to fostering a warm, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel comfortable expressing themselves. Her treatment integrates evidence-based medication management with psychotherapy to provide thoughtful, individualized care.
